APRESENTAÇÃO
O Salão de Humor do Piauí / Brasil é o maior
evento do gênero no país e recebe trabalhos de artistas
do mundo inteiro. A cada ano, cerca de 3.000 trabalhos em cartum, charge
e caricatura chegam à Fundação Nacional
do Humor vindos de mais de 35 países, tais como Irã,
Alemanha, Polônia, Iugoslávia, Cuba, China, Espanha, México
e Espanha entre outros.
Este
ano, o Salão de Humor do Piauí / Brasil completa 21 anos
e acontece no período de 20 a 26 de outubro. O diferencial em
relação aos anos anteriores é que os trabalhos
serão expostos em quatro diferentes locais: Clube dos Diários,
Theatro 4 de Setembro, Praça Pedro II, Praça da Liberdade,
Praça São Benedito, Rua Climatizada e Avenida Frei Serafim.
Os
artistas poderão concorrer com tema livre nas seguintes modalidades:
cartum, charge e caricatura. Também serão escolhidos o
melhor trabalho em cartum, tendo como tema a Fome, e o melhor trabalho
em caricatura pessoal, com o tema Herbert de Souza – o Betinho.
Todos
os trabalhos devem chegar à Fundação Nacional
do Humor até o dia 15 de
outubro de 2003, conforme regulamento em anexo.
O
Salão de Humor do Piauí / Brasil realizar-se-á
nas seguintes localidades: Clube dos Diários, Praça Pedro
II, Rua Climatizada, Praça da Liberdade e Avenida Frei Serafim,
em Teresina, no período de 20 a 26 de outubro de 2003.
Os trabalhos deverão ser apresentados com tema livre, nas modalidades
cartum, charge, caricatura, obedecendo às seguintes definições:
CHARGE: desenho de humor relativo a fato ocorrido recentemente; CARTUM:
desenho sem vínculo necessário a qualquer fato específico;
CARICATURA: retrato com distorções anatômicas e
psicológicas de personalidades conhecidas.
Serão
também escolhidos o melhor trabalho em cartum, tendo como tema
a Fome e o melhor trabalho em caricatura pessoal, tendo como tema Herbert
de Souza, o Betinho.
Em cada modalidade, o concorrente poderá inscrever até
03 (três) trabalhos, no formato padrão 30x40cm.
O
vencedor de cada modalidade receberá um troféu e um prêmio
de R$ 2.000,00 (dois mil reais).
No
verso de cada trabalho deverá constar a categoria em que está
inscrita a obra, nome completo do autor, endereço, telefone,
e-mail e dados biográficos.
Os
casos omissos serão resolvidos pela comissão organizadora
e pelo júri.
Será
escolhido, em cada modalidade, o melhor trabalho na opinião do
público visitante. A aferição será feita
através do Instituto Piauiense de Opinião Pública
- IPOP.
O artista que não solicitar, no ato da inscrição,
a devolução do seu trabalho estará concordando
em ceder sua obra para o acervo permanente da Fundação
Nacional do Humor, que poderá usá-la para fins de
divulgação e em projetos educacionais e culturais.
PRESENTATION
The Humor Exhibiton of Piauí / Brazil is
the biggest of its kind in the country and receives works of artists
from all over the world. Each year, about 3,000 works in cartoons, charges
and caricatures arrive at the Humor
National Foundation
coming from more than 35 countries, such as: Iran, Germany, Poland,
Croatia, Ukraine, Cuba, Argentina, Mexico and Spain, among others.
This year, the Humor Exhibition of Piauí / Brazil completes 21
years and it will occur between the 20th and the 26th of October. One
innovation from the previous years is that the works will be displayed
in 7 different places: Clube dos Diários, 4 de Setembro Theater,
Pedro II Square, Liberdade Square, São Benedito Square, the acclimatized
street and Frei Serafim Avenue.
The artists will be able to take part in the free theme contest, in
the following categories: cartoon, charge and caricature. It will also
be chosen the best work in cartoon, having “Hunger” as theme
and the best work in personal caricature having Herbert de Souza (Betinho)
as theme.
According to the regulation, all the works must arrive at the Humor
National Foundation by October
10th, 2003.
The
Humor Exhibition of Piauí / Brazil will occur from October 20
to October 26, 2003, in the following places in Teresina: Clube dos
Diários, Pedro II Square, ”Climatized” Street, Liberdade
Square and Frei Serafim Avenue.
Unpublished artwork of theme of your choice can be presented under different
categories, as follows: CHARGE: drawing related to facts recently happened;
CARTOON: drawing without any relation to a specific fact; CARICATURE:
portrait with anatomic and psychological distortion of known personalities.
It will be also chosen the best work in cartoon
on the theme Hanger and the best work in caricature on the theme Herbert
de Souza (Betinho).
Each artist may submit up to 3 (three) pieces
of artwork in the standard 30x40 cm format.
Unpublished original pieces must be received by the organizers not later
than October 15, 2003.
The
winner of each category will receive a trophy and a prize of R$ 2.000,00
(two thousand reais).
On
the back of each piece must be registered the category of the work and
full name of the artist with address, telephone number, e-mail address
and biography.
Omitted cases will be decided by the jury and
the organizing commission.
It will be also chosen the best work in each category by the visiting
public. The poll will be made by the Institute
of Public Opinion of Piauí.
If return is not solicited in the act of inscription, the concerning
pieces are ceded by the artist to the permanent collection of the National
Foundation of Humor, that reserves
the right to use them for promotion, educational and cultural purposes.
